The Klein Tools MODbox Wall System Steel Mount (54862MB) is a steel mounting plate for the MODbox Wall System. This is a magnetic-accessory mount designed to give work lights, fans, speakers, power cords and other magnet-backed gear a place on the wall. It installs directly into MODbox wall panels, and anything with a magnetic base sticks right to it.
A lot of jobsite gear already comes with magnets: work lights, worklight hooks, small fans, Bluetooth speakers, magnetic trays. Without a steel surface, those magnets do nothing on a drywall or plywood wall. This plate fixes that, and because the gear is held magnetically, moving a light to a new angle or pulling a fan off for the day takes no tools.
