Overview
The Klein Tools Class C Type-2 Hard Hat, Vented Full Brim with Strap, Green (60941T2) is a vented, full brim Type 2 hard hat. This is a vented head protection option designed for hot-weather construction and mechanical work away from live electrical. It pairs a green, vented Class C shell with Klein's 6-point suspension and patented accessory mounts.
Type 2 coverage under ANSI Z89.1-2014 (R2019) HT-LT protects against side, front, back and top impacts, and the hat is tested for high and low temperatures. It is Class C, so keep it away from energized work; that is the price of a vented shell.
The vent layout puts openings on the top and both sides; the large side vents adjust so you control how much air moves through. The full brim style keeps sun off your face, ears and neck.
Inside, a 6-point suspension with ratchet and pivot adjustment fits sizes 6-1/2 to 8 and gives full coverage around the head. The sweat-wicking, odor-resistant padding is machine washable, and a padded 4-point chin strap detaches when you do not need it.
Customization: Klein's patented accessory mounts allow strap-free headlamp attachment, so the light sits securely without an elastic band. Klein lists its rechargeable headlamps (Cat. Nos. KHH56308, 56048, 56062, 56414) and safety lamp (Cat. No. 56063) as compatible accessories, sold separately. Universal accessory slots on the front, back and both sides accept other add-ons.
Green rounds out Klein's vented color range for crews that color-code by role or company. The vented Class C full brim build, suspension and accessory mounts are the same across the line. The hat weighs 2 lb (907 g) as listed by Klein. Who should buy it: crews that use green hats for role or company identification and work in hot conditions.

Pro Tip
Fit the hat once with your chosen Klein headlamp before the first shift. The patented mounts are strap-free, but you still want to confirm the beam angle while you are standing in the shop, not on a ladder.
