This is a 6-point welding helmet suspension designed for the Klein Tools Phoenix Series Panoramic Welding Helmet (Cat. No. 60141), built to reduce fatigue during long welding sessions.
Fit is adjustable several ways. A ratchet knob changes size one-handed, even in work gloves, across head sizes 6-1/2 to 8. Multi-level height adjustment sets how the helmet sits, and the pivot position adjusts on the neck for a secure fit.
The open-frame 6-point design is flexible and promotes airflow, and the multi-point suspension helps spread weight. It is a modular system that works with the replaceable sweatband accessory, Cat. No. KWHSWTBND, so the sweatband can be swapped separately.
An integrated accessory mount supports attachment of batteries (Cat. No. 29025) and other accessories. The gray nylon straps are built for demanding conditions, and the suspension installs tool-free with snap-in locking clips.
