The KNIPEX ErgoStrip PV has been specially optimized for the needs of solar installers: it strips weather-resistant and tough PV cables for 4 and 6 mm² (12 and 10 AWG), plus standard round and moisture-resistant cables.
- Strips standard round and moisture-resistant cables plus weather-resistant PV cables, 4/6 mm²
- Pistol grip design for cutting, stripping, and longitudinal sheath cutting
- Adjustable length stop (1/4-in.–3/4-in.) for repetitive stripping, compatible with standard solar connectors
- Conical, slimmed tool ends for confined space access
- Also strips PVC single conductors: 0.2/0.3/0.8/1.5/2.5/4.0 mm²
- Locating ridges for easy hole identification
- Opening spring and locking device
- Two front blades for NYM cable outer sheath removal, plus a cable stripping knife for longitudinal sheath cutting
