It is engineered with Active Feedback-Sensing Technology (AFT), a system that electronically turns off the motor if the rotation of the blade is suddenly forced to a stop. It has a large 2-5/8” cutting capacity that can handle various metal materials including pipe, stud, channel, strut, conduit, angle, square tubing, sheet metal, and more. It also has a built-in electric brake for maximum productivity. Convenience features include an L.E.D. light that operates with pre-glow and afterglow to illuminate the workspace, a rubberized soft grip handle, and a trigger switch with a two-stage lock off that requires the user to press a button on the handle with their thumb before the tool can be activated. It has a side-load battery that provides a more compact design that is only 13-3/4" long for easier use in constrained spaces.
