Simpson Strong-Tie ARC adhesive retaining caps make overhead and horizontal anchor installations easier by preventing the adhesive from running out of the hole. They also center the rod or rebar dowel in the hole, making them ideal for applications where precise anchor placement is required. Adhesive retaining caps are not designed to support the weight of the anchor, so itβs advisable in overhead installations to provide an adequate means of anchor support during cure time. ARC retaining caps may be used in conjunction with the Simpson Strong-Tie Piston Plug Delivery System.
