Overview
The Stanley 4-1/2-in. Small Trigger Clamp (FMHT83270) is a one-handed bar clamp that opens to 4-1/2" and closes with a squeeze of the pistol grip. This is a trigger clamp designed for woodworking glue-ups, assembly, and holding work during cutting, drilling and fastening.
Throat depth is 1-3/16", measured from the bar to the center of the jaw pad. That shallow reach keeps the clamp compact and quick to maneuver into tight spots around cabinets, jigs and small assemblies.
The bar has a black oxide finish for corrosion resistance, and the quick-release lever lets you slide the jaw to a new position in a second.
Removable non-marring pads cover the jaws so finished surfaces, veneers and softwoods come out without dents. Pop them off when you want more bite on rough stock.
Grab this size for small parts, picture frames, model work, holding a stop block, and light-duty glue-ups where a big clamp is overkill. Woodworkers, cabinetmakers, remodelers and serious DIYers will all put it to work.
Hold It While You Work

Trigger clamps free up your second hand: set the jaw, squeeze, and get back to the cut or the glue-up.
