A pneumatic ratchet spins nuts and bolts on and off quickly once they are broken loose, which saves time on water pumps, intake manifolds, and brackets. This collection holds two Jet air ratchets: the JAT-301 in 3/8" drive and the JAT-302 in 1/2" drive. Choose 3/8" for engine bay work with smaller fasteners and 1/2" for larger bolts on suspension and equipment.

An air ratchet is built for speed, not breakaway force. Crack stubborn fasteners loose with a hand ratchet, breaker bar, or impact wrench first, then use the air ratchet to run them out.
