Swan Tool Squares, Rulers, and Vacuum Workholding
Swan Tool Group makes layout and workholding tools for cabinetmakers, finish carpenters, and furniture makers. The lineup has three parts: Swan squares and depth stops for marking and checking angles, Swan rulers in the Red Tail line, and Swan vacuum clamping built around the VacQ system and Vac Pucs. Squares and rulers share accessories, and the vacuum tools hold stock flat without clamp jaws in the way.

Protractor and Depth Stops

Red Tail Rulers

VacQ Vacuum Workholding

Vac Pucs and Vac Plate
Vac Pucs in 2-packs hold thin or finished parts for routing and sanding. The Vac-Plate for Grabo and the plate and puc kit pair with a DeWALT GRABO lifter as the vacuum source. Replacement puc seals are sold separately.
Articulating Clamp Mount
The OS360M articulating vacuum clamp mounting system positions a part at an angle for carving, detailing, or finishing. Combine it with bench vises and router tables for a full workholding setup.

What is vacuum clamping and when should I use it?
Vacuum clamping holds a part by suction from below, so the top and edges stay clear for routing, sanding, or carving. It works best on flat, non-porous surfaces and on thin parts that mechanical clamps would bend or mark.
Do I need the VacQ pump or a GRABO?
