It replicates your blade kerf using one of three swappable plates (1.8mm, 2.2mm, or 2.4mm), so you set the carbon fiber extension to your desired finished measurement and the cut lands exactly on that dimension every time. This range covers most cabinet, furniture, and panel-cutting dimensions, including cabinet door widths, drawer fronts, face frames, and shelf depths. The Rip Gauge measures 30.312" (770mm) overall and works with stops on both sides of the blade.
