Track Saw Crosscut Fence for Festool MFT & Guide Rail Benches

The F1 Surface-Mount Fence gives track saw users a dead-square reference edge on a Festool MFT/3, Dash-Board, ShortCut, or any 20mm-grid bench. It sets up in seconds for repeatable 90-degree crosscuts with Festool, Makita, Bosch, and Mafell guide rails, then stores flat when the job is done.

Built to work with the F2.

The F1 is a 30-inch fence designed as a companion to the F2 Surface Mount Fence. While the F2 sets your primary reference edge for the workpiece, the F1 extends backing for your material on the right side of the blade. Add a Reversible Flip Stop to the F1 and you can set repeat dimensions on the right side of the blade in addition to the left, doubling your repeat-cut workflow.

The F1 uses the same Fence Block system as the F2. Two sliding blocks come with each fence and slide along the extrusion to match whatever hole pattern your bench has. Drop them into 20mm holes, lock down with all-metal knobs, and the fence is set. Works on the Dash-Board, ShortCut, Festool MFT3, Kreg ACS, Benchdogs Ultra MFT, and any DIY MFT-style bench built on a 20mm grid.

Unlike the F2, the F1 works with all major track saw and guide rail brands regardless of which side of the rail your blade cuts on. Festool, Makita-style rails, Bosch, Mafell, DeWalt, Metabo, Powertec, Milwaukee, WEN, and Grizzly. If you have a right-cutting saw, the F1 expands the F2's reference edge to the right. If you have a left-cutting saw, the F1 serves as your primary fence with the F2 supporting the right.

• What is the F1 Surface Mount Fence and what does it do? The F1 Surface Mount Fence is a 30-inch companion fence to the F2 in the Dash-Board system, designed to extend material support and stop placement on the right side of the blade during crosscuts. It mounts to any workbench with a 20mm hole grid using two sliding Fence Blocks, and accepts the Reversible Flip Stop for repeat-length cuts.
• What is the difference between the F1 and F2 Fences? The F2 is 54¾" long and serves as the primary reference fence with three Fence Blocks. The F1 is 30" long with two Fence Blocks and serves as the companion fence to the right of the blade, extending material support during longer crosscuts. The F2 works only with right-cutting saws, while the F1 works with both left- and right-cutting saws.
• Do I need the F1 if I already have the F2? You need the F1 when you regularly cut workpieces that hang off the right side of the bench during crosscuts, when you want to set repeat dimensions on the right side of the blade, or when you have a left-cutting track saw that needs primary fence support. The Fence Bundle saves significantly versus buying the F1 and F2 separately.
