3/4-inch staples are offered for the dcn701d1 dewalt staple gun. They fit snug on a 10/2 With ground NM romex wire, but seem to fit loose on a 14/2 with ground nm romex wire. Do you think dewalt will make a snug fit for 14/2 and 12/2 romex wire staple in the near future? That would be awesome if they made individual staples for the three most common sizes, 14/2, 12/2, 10/2 with ground. And have the staples color coded white, yellow & orange.

We provided your feedback to DeWALT, however there's no indication at this time that additional staple types will be offered.
