What are the dimensions? How far can the miter slot be from the blade to be effective for narrow stock? My friend has old table saw and the conventional two bolt style cannot get close enough to the blade to be useful.

From the center point of the the miter clamp, the distance to the end of the nearest finger is 1-9/16" and the distance to the end of the farthest finger is 6-13/16".
